Every year different countries provide scholarship through their Embassies to Nepalese students in order pursue their Medical and Dental career in Abroad. There are various embassies in Nepal that have been providing such scholarships.
Every year Embassy of India in Nepal provides few MBBS Scholarships to Nepalese students. Students have to participate in NEET Exam Conducted in India. Interested candidates need to apply through Self Financing Schemes (SFS):
SELF –FINANCING SCHEMES
MBBS/BDS & PG Medical (Self-Financing):
Under self-finance scheme, a limited number of seats for MBBS and PG Medical courses for study in India are offered. The PG Medical course is allotted at the Banaras Hindu University (BHU), Varanasi. NEET-UG/PG score is mandatory for those who seek admission to MBBS/BDS and PG Medical courses in India. Fees for study of the medical courses under self-finance in India are decided by respective institutes/colleges/Universities. Submission of application form for MBBS/BDS is announced on Embassy of India’s website and submission of application form for PG Medical is announced on the Embassy of India’s notice board during February/March.
Selection Process: Candidates will be interviewed at the time of submitting the applications in the Embassy of India, Kathmandu. Final selection will be made by the authorities concerned in the Government of India, based on applicant’s academic record, experience and relevance of course applied for vis-a-vis applicants’ profile.

Eligibility for Application
1. Minimum of 60% in Science (Biology) at + 2 Level or Equivalent
2. Successful National-Eligibility-Cum-Entrance Test (NEET) score, conducted by the NTA-NEET (UG) Board, India
3. MECEE Score, conducted by Medical Education Commission, Nepal
The examination pattern would be PCB- subjective / objective and a Nepali essay and will be held around Jestha / Asadh.

The Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) of Japan offers scholarships to international students who wish to study at Japanese universities as Undergraduate Students under the Japanese Government (MEXT) Scholarship Program
Qualifications:
Applicants must be Nepali nationals between 17 to 24 years of age. Applicants must have completed a 12-year regular course of education and have secured 75% marks (CGPA: 3.5) for Natural Sciences and 65% (CGPA: 2.9) for Humanities and Social Sciences in average in SEE and plus two exams.
Language: All classes will be given in Japanese language.
Date of Entrance Exam: In the month of July.
Question Pattern: English, Biology, Chemistry, Maths & Japanese Language.
