Rangpur Community Medical College started its Journey in the year 2008. From the 2008-2009 educational year, in its 1st Batch 50 students were admitted & have started classes for their MBBS Course & in the year 2012 the Ministry of Health conferred the seating capacity to 100 considering its updated infrastructure & academic performance.
